Deutsche Bank names Louise Kitchen Global Head of Commodities Structuring and Marketing


Deutsche Bank announced today that Louise Kitchen will join the firm as Managing Director and Global Head of Commodities Structuring and Marketing within its Global Markets division. Kitchen joins from UBS where she was Managing Director and Head of Distribution and Structured Products, Energy. She will be based in New York and report to Hope Pascucci, Global Head of Debt Capital Markets.

"Louise is one of the most respected marketers and structurers in the US power and gas markets," said Mark Ritter, Deutsche Bank Global Head of Commodities, who also joined the firm from UBS this year. "Louise has a proven record of success in the industry and will further enhance our client reach and our ability to create tailored financial solutions."

Kitchen has been named one of Fortune's "Most Powerful Women in Business" and was the subject of a Harvard Business School Case Study entitled "Louise Kitchen: Intrapreneur". In 2004, she was named a member of the "10 Year Hall of Fame" by Energy Risk magazine.

Kitchen holds a BA from Kingston University in Kingston-Upon-Thames, UK.
