Vidaurri will join the firm from Morgan Stanley where he was most recently Head of Northern Latin American Investment Banking and Head of the Mexico City office. During his 12-year career at Morgan Stanley, he played a key role in establishing Morgan Stanley's local operations in Mexico and in securing many of the firm's landmark transactions in the region. He was also a senior coverage officer for government entities and private companies for other countries in Northern Latin America. Prior to that, he worked at The First Boston Corporation as a Mexico Coverage Officer. He began his career in finance in 1984 in the Department of Financial Planning in Mexico's Ministry of Finance.

Vidaurri has a BA in Economics from the Universidad de las Americas, Puebla, Mexico; an MA in Economics from the Yale University Graduate School; and a Master's Degree in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management.
