Deutsche Bank appoints Global Head of Communications and Marketing for Global Banking Division


Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Jennie Younger as Managing Director and Global Head of Communications and Marketing for Global Banking.  Jennie will be a member of the Global Banking Executive Committee.  She will join in July 2006 and will be based in London.

In this new role for the Global Banking division, Jennie will be responsible for developing, co-ordinating and implementing communications strategy for its clients and employees. 

Jennie joins Deutsche Bank from GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), where she is currently Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications & Community Partnerships and a member of GSK's Corporate Executive Team.  Previously Jennie was head of Investor Relations at Glaxo Wellcome where she played a key role in the merger with SmithKline Beecham.  Prior to joining GSK Jennie was head of Investor Relations at British Gas after ten years as an analyst with Barclays de Zoete Wedd and Kleinwort Benson.

In 2004 Jennie won the "European Women of Achievement Award for Business" for her achievements at GSK and for women in business.
