Deutsche Bank adds Kevin McQuilkin to its Mergers & Acquisitions group

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. today announced that Kevin McQuilkin has joined the firm’s Global Banking division as a Managing Director within the Mergers & Acquisitions group, specializing in the metals, mining, chemicals and industrials sectors. He is based in New York and reports to James Stynes, Head of M&A in the Americas.

McQuilkin joins Deutsche Bank after 20 years with JP Morgan’s M&A group, where he was most recently Head of Industrials M&A responsible for the industrials, aerospace, defense, chemicals and mining sectors.

“Kevin has earned an excellent reputation for his industry insight, diverse advisory experience and his many long-standing client relationships,” said Stynes. “We are delighted to add a banker of his caliber to our growing US advisory team.”

Over the past two decades, McQuilkin has advised a number of industry leaders, including Newmont Mining on its acquisition of Normandy Mining and Franco Nevada; Millenium Chemicals on its merger with Lyondell; Johnson Controls on its acquisition of York International; FedEx on its acquisition of Watkins Motor Lines; General Motors on the sale of its Electro Motive Division and United Defense Industries on its sale to BAE Systems.

McQuilkin graduated with honors from Gonzaga University and earned a Masters in Management from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business Management, where he was a Chevron Fellow.
