Stuart Lewis, currently the Global Head of the Loan Exposure Management Group (LEMG), will transfer to join Risk & Capital Management as Chief Credit Officer and Deputy Chief Risk Officer, with effect from 1 December 2006.
“Over the past few years Stuart has helped to build LEMG into a world class, award winning team. I am delighted that he has taken up the position of Chief Credit Officer and that we can now utilize his wealth of experience and expertise from derivatives, investment banking and loan portfolio management,” said Hugo Banziger, Chief Risk Officer.
Stuart joined LEMG as Head of Europe in 2003 and ran the group globally from June 2005. Prior to his job in LEMG, Stuart was Deputy Chief Risk Officer (Credit) for Corporate and Investment Banking.
He will be succeeded as Global head of LEMG by Sean Kavanagh, currently Head of LEMG Americas and Deputy Head of LEMG. Sean joined Deutsche Bank in 2001 and has worked in LEMG since its inception. He will report jointly to Bruce Rigal, COO Global Banking, and Mark Ferron, COO Global Markets.
