Deutsche Bank reactivates Seat on the Mexican Stock Exchange and executes first trade

Deutsche Bank today announced that it has reactivated its license to trade on the Mexican Stock Exchange, Bolsa Mexicana de Valores. The active licence will allow Deutsche Bank, through its local brokerage house, to carry out its own equity transactions, enhancing trade execution and client service. Deutsche Bank also announced it executed its first trade since reactivating the seat on the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores yesterday.

“We are excited to expand our capabilities and committed to providing our clients with the best equities execution service in Mexico,” said Dan McGoey, Head of Equities in Mexico.

Deutsche Bank recently made several key hires in Mexico, underscoring the firm’s commitment to the region. In May, Francois Jaubert joined the firm as a Director and Head of Equity Sales and Trading in Mexico, Marco Rojo joined as a Director and Equities Sales Trader and Monica Cardenas joined as a Vice President in Equities Sales. Deutsche Bank's Latin American Equities business has offices in New York, London, Sao Paulo, Santiago and Mexico City.

Deutsche Bank first established operations in Mexico in 1957. Through its subsidiaries
Deutsche Securities, S.A. de C.V. and Deutsche Bank Mexico, S.A., the bank provides a full array of financial and advisory products to Mexican corporate and institutional clients through its team in Mexico City and the Deutsche Bank global platform.
