Deutsche Bank appoints Konstantin Seryogin as Head of the Representative Office and local Head of Global Transaction Banking, Ukraine


Deutsche Bank today announced that Konstantin Seryogin has joined the bank as Director and Head of Deutsche Bank’s Representative Office and local Head of Global Transaction Banking in the Ukraine.

In his new roles, Seryogin will be based in Kiev and report to Peter Tils, Chief Executive Officer for Central and Eastern Europe, in his function as Head of the Representative Office. As local Head of GTB for Ukraine, Konstantin will report to Daniel Falque, Head of Global Transaction Banking Europe, and as local Head of TFCMC to Dr. Stefan Walter, Head of Cash Management Corporates and Trade Finance Sales, as well as GTB Relationship Management, for Eastern Europe.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, he held numerous positions within Citigroup’s Corporate and Investment banking division. These included Relationship Management positions with Ukrainian banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions and more recently within Citi’s Global Transaction Services unit where he was responsible for Cash Management and Trade Finance as well as Public Sector business. Seryogin has also worked for First Ukrainian International Bank as well as Credit Suisse First Boston in related corporate banking roles.

Commenting on the appointment, Werner Steinmueller, Head of Global Transaction Banking said, “Konstantin has considerable knowledge of the Ukrainian financial market which will be a valuable asset in establishing and further developing our Transaction Banking services in this strategically important market in Eastern Europe.”
