Reinhard-E. Uhl named Head of GTB Europe and Stefan Bender named Global Head of Capital Markets Sales


Reinhard-E. Uhl has been appointed Head of Global Transaction Banking Europe. Reinhard E. Uhl will take on his new role in addition to his existing responsibilities as Head of GTB Germany, given the importance of both Europe and Germany for the GTB franchise. Reinhard E. Uhl continues to report to Werner Steinmüller, Member of the Group Executive Committee.

Against this background, Stefan Bender will succeed Reinhardt E. Uhl as Global Head of Capital Markets Sales, having successfully run the bank’s foreign exchange business in Germany since 2005.

Stefan Bender joined Deutsche Bank in 1997and has worked in various trading positions in Asia, the U.S., the U.K. and Europe. In his new role he will be globally responsible for all capital markets sales activities. He is based in Frankfurt and reports to Werner Steinmüller, Member of the Group Executive Committee.
