Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. today announced that Dean Keller will join the firm’s Natural Resources group as a Managing Director, focusing on the Power and Utilities sector. He will be based in New York, reporting to Kirk Andrews and Frank Kinney, Co-Heads of Power & Utilities corporate coverage in the Americas.
Keller will join Deutsche Bank in early August from Entergy Corporation, where he was an Executive Vice President and CFO for Enexus Energy Corporation for the past two years. Prior to Entergy, Keller spent 11 years at Citigroup, where he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the North American Power Group.
“More than ever, the Bank is bringing a deeply informed, ‘trusted advisor’ focus to its clients,” said Andrews. “Dean’s breadth of experience, which includes law, investment banking and risk oversight, will significantly add to our client service capabilities.”
“The natural resources sector overall remains a significant area of activity in the US, and the power and utilities space is no exception,” said Kinney. “We’re excited to have a banker of Dean’s caliber joining our team.”
Keller earned a BA in English, magna cum laude, from the University of Vermont and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
