Hammonds, Lee and Matherat recognised in FN 100 Women in Finance list
The trade publication Financial News has selected Kim Hammonds, Tiina Lee and Sylvie Matherat for its 100 Most Influential Women in Financial Services list.
Group Chief Operating Officer and Management Board member Hammonds was commended for her stewardship of the bank’s strategic IT programme, cutting costs and simplifying the platform as well as overseeing an investment of EUR 1 billion in digital initiatives. Lee, the UK Head of Global Markets, was recognised for leading a team that lifted revenues for the division in the third quarter and her oversight and governance of UK activities. Matherat, Chief Regulatory Officer, was featured for her reshaping of the bank’s control function as well as her appointment to the Management Board.
The list assesses women from across the sector for their influence and leadership over their company and market sector, as well as their performance in the past year and in their career to date.
Deutsche Bank was one of a handful of institutions to hold three or more positions on the list, which has now entered its tenth year.
