Deutsche Asset Management appoints Robert Goodman as Head of Insurance Relationships
Goodman will lead the Insurance Asset Management group's new business development and client services teams around the world. He joins from NM Rothschild & Sons where he was Global Head of Insurance Investment Banking. Before that, he was Head of the Financial Institutions Group at Lazard Freres.
As well as senior roles in investment banking, Goodman has been a partner at McKinsey & Co, where he was Co-Head of the European Insurance practice, and a Managing Partner at Andersen Consulting, heading the European Financial Institutions Group. A graduate of Swarthmore College, he earned an MA from Harvard University, his JD from Harvard Law School, and began his career practicing corporate law.
