Deutsche Asset Management further builds Global Consultant Relations Team

Julia Beinker and Anne Coupe to join as Directors in Europe and the Midwest U.S.

Deutsche Bank’s Asset Management (DeAM) division today announced that Julia Beinker and Anne Coupe will join its Global Consultant Relations team as Directors.   Based in Frankfurt, Beinker will be the Head of Consultant Relations in Europe, effective October 1.  Coupe will join DeAM on September 4 as a Consultant Relations Manager in Chicago.

Beinker will lead DeAM’s consultant relations efforts in Europe while Coupe will be responsible for the firm’s interactions with investment consultant firms in the Midwest United States.  Both will work with consultants to leverage DeAM’s investment strategies and product array to benefit clients.  Beinker and Coupe will report to Susan Small, Global Head of Consultant Relations.

Beinker joins DeAM from Germany’s Union Investment Institutional where she was Head of Consultant Relations.  She previously worked as a Consultant at Feri Institutional Management; prior to that, she was a Portfolio Manager at Metzler Investment.  Beinker earned a Business Administration diploma from Johann-Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt.

Coupe joins DeAM from William Blair & Company where she was a Domestic Equity Product Specialist.  She previously worked at Banc One Investment Advisors as an Institutional Investment Manager.  Prior to Banc One, Coupe was an Investment Consultant at Callan Associates and at Mercer Investment Consulting. She earned a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

“Julia and Anne are two strong additions to our global consultant relations team,” said Small.  “Their firsthand knowledge of consultants' needs, combined with their strong investment backgrounds, will be invaluable to DeAM as we continue to grow our global consultant relationships.”

Earlier this year, DeAM announced the appointments of Ajeet Manjrekar as a Director and Consultant Relations Manager in London and Robert Strachan as a Director responsible for West Coast Consultant Relations in San Francisco.
