Deutsche Bank appoints Alen Aksamija as Head of the Representative Office in Zagreb, Croatia
Deutsche Bank has appointed Alen Aksamija as the new Head of the Representative Office in Zagreb, Croatia as of 1 January 2008. He takes over from Nikola Carevic, who has managed the Representative Office since 1997.
Alen Aksamija will continue to focus on representing Deutsche Bank’s Investment and Transaction Banking as well as Private Wealth Management in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He joined Deutsche Bank in November 2007 from Societe Generale Splitska Bank where he was the Head of Large and International Corporates and Financial Institutions and he was also in charge of the development of regional corporate centers.
His comprehensive knowledge about the financial sector in this region will contribute to Deutsche Bank’s plan to expand business in Croatia and the neighboring countries. Alen Aksamija will especially aim at providing corporates with more sophisticated financial products and services in the area of investment banking in order to meet their specific requirements. The strategy is to pursue corporate clients which are expanding regionally and internationally and which therefore demand individual consultation as well as tailor made products and solutions.
In his function as Head of the Representative Office in Zagreb, Croatia, Alen Aksamija will report to Peter Tils, CEO of Central and Eastern Europe. Peter Tils said: “With his comprehensive experience in Investment Banking, Alen Aksamija will ensure continuity and will further expand our corporate and institutional business in the region.
