Deutsche Bank appoints CIO for Corporate Banking & Securities and Global Transaction Banking
Deutsche Bank announced today that Michael Grimaldi will join the Bank as Chief Information Officer for its Corporate Banking & Securities and Global Transaction Banking business divisions in the third quarter of 2014.
Grimaldi joins from Goldman Sachs, where he was a Partner and Global Head of Securities Division Technology, responsible for all technology relating to fixed income, currencies and commodities, equities, prime services, clearing, sales and core services.
He has spent the last 20 years of his career at Goldman Sachs in a variety of roles including Head of Technology & Regional Chief Information Officer, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to this, Grimaldi spent seven years working at GTE Government Systems in mobile telecommunications research and development. He studied at Binghamton University and the US Military Academy at West Point.
Grimaldi will be based in London and will report to Kim Hammonds, Global Chief Information Officer and Global Co-Head of Group Technology & Operations (GTO), and Jim Turley, also Global Co-Head of GTO.
