Deutsche Bank appoints Global Head of Metals Trading

Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Ray Key as Global Head of Metals Trading.  He will be based in London and is charged with developing Deutsche Bank’s metals trading business.  Key will report to David Silbert, Global Head of Commodities, with immediate effect.

Key joins Deutsche Bank after five years with Morgan Stanley, where he was most recently an Executive Director and Global Head of Precious Metals.  At Morgan Stanley he was responsible for expanding the client base both with major commercial concerns and the financial community.  Prior to this he was a Director and Global Head of Precious Options and Forward Trading at Credit Suisse, London.  Previously he worked at Deutsche Bank having started at Bankers Trust.

"I am confident that Key’s track record and industry experience will prove to be a valuable resource in our planned growth of the metals franchise,” said David Silbert, Global Head of Commodities.  "In his new role, Key will grow our client base and develop new products to complement our substantial commodity trading platform.”
