Deutsche Bank appoints Nemanja Zugic as Head of the Representative Office in Belgrade, Serbia

Deutsche Bank has appointed Nemanja Zugic as the new Head of the Representative Office in Belgrade, Serbia as of 1 January 2008. He takes over from Wolfgang Walter, who has managed the Bank’s Representative Office in Serbia since 2002.

Nemanja Zugic previously worked as Deputy Head of Deutsche Bank’s Representative Office in Belgrade. Nemanja Zugic will continue to focus on representing Deutsche Bank’s Corporate and Investment Bank as well as Private Wealth Management in Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia. He joined Deutsche Bank in 2005 and has been in charge of financing activities, especially leveraged loans and high yield capital markets, across Eastern European countries.

Deutsche Bank’s Global Markets, Corporate Finance and Global Transaction banking teams deliver individual consultation, tailor-made products and solutions as well as a deep understanding of the regional market to its corporate and institutional clients. Nemanja Zugic will focus on assisting corporate clients with regional expansion and on providing them with access to the international capital markets. He will also further develop the strong relationships with governmental authorities, municipalities, financial institutions and leading corporates.

In his function as Head of the Representative Office in Belgrade, Serbia, Nemanja Zugic will report to Peter Tils, CEO Central and Eastern Europe. Peter Tils said: “Nemanja Zugic’s experience in investment banking and his comprehensive knowledge about the financial sector in this region will ensure that Deutsche Bank continues to grow its business in Serbia and the neighbouring countries.
