Deutsche Bank today announced that Andrew Procter has been appointed the Regional Head of Compliance for the United Kingdom and Western Europe. Procter will lead the Compliance department throughout the region and will serve as a member of the UK Regional Governance Board.

Procter joins Deutsche Bank from the UK's Financial Services Authority where he has been the Director of Enforcement since 2001. From 1998 until he joined the FSA, Procter was a Commission Member of the Hong Kong Securities & Futures Commission ("HKSFC") and Executive Director responsible for the Intermediaries and Investment Products Division.  From 1993 until joining the HKSFC as a senior policy adviser in 1996, Procter held a number of posts with the Australian Securities Commission, including National Director of Enforcement and Acting Commission Member.

Procter will join Deutsche Bank in April 2005 and will report to Henry Klehm, Global Head of Compliance.

Henry Klehm, Global Head of Compliance, said, "We are pleased to have Andrew joining our team, as he brings with him a tremendously deep and diverse knowledge in the international banking regulatory field.  Andrew's demonstrated integrity and successful career track record are entirely consistent with the Bank's commitment to integrity in the marketplace and outstanding performance for our clients."
