Deutsche Bank further strengthens Technology M&A practice

Timothy Ng joins as a Managing DirectorDeutsche Bank Securities Inc. today announced that Timothy J. Ng has joined the firm as a Managing Director in the Technology Investment Banking group where he will specialize in mergers and acquisitions and provide strategic advisory services to clients in the global technology sector. Ng will be based in San Francisco and report to Tor Braham, Head of Technology Mergers & Acquisitions and Co-Head of Technology Investment Banking in the Americas, and to James Stynes, Head of Mergers and Acquisitions in the Americas.

Ng was formerly a Managing Director and Global Head of the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at SoundView Technology Group until the firm was acquired by Charles Schwab & Co. in 2004. Before joining SoundView, Ng worked in investment banking for more than 18 years at Credit Suisse First Boston, Morgan Stanley, and SG Cowen, focusing on the financial institutions, aerospace and transportation, natural resources, health care and technology sectors. Ng has extensive experience in cross-border transactions and has focused on the technology sector since 1993. Most recently he has served on the Board of Directors of Magma Design Automation, Inc., a publicly-traded semiconductor design tools company, and as an independent management consultant and advisor to high-growth companies.
