Deutsche Bank recognized for hedge fund financing by Alpha Magazine

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. today announced that its Global Prime Finance business within its Global Markets division received several distinctions in the 2007 Alpha Awards. Deutsche Bank was ranked second in the “Financing” category, third in the “Hedge Fund 100 favorites” category, and ranked in the top five in “Capital Introduction” and “Hedge Fund Expertise”.

“We thank our clients for acknowledging our financing expertise in the Alpha survey. We attribute our success in this key area to our well-established derivatives franchise and the natural advantages of a highly rated and large global bank," said Barry Bausano, Co-Head of Global Prime Finance.

“Our popularity with the Hedge Fund 100 is a testament to the superior quality of our product suite,” said Jonathan Hitchon, Co-Head of Global Prime Finance. “We are grateful to these funds and to all of our clients who consistently partner with us to achieve their goals.”

This is the second round of awards Deutsche Bank Global Prime Finance has received in 2007; in March, Deutsche Bank was named the #2 Global prime broker by Global Custodian magazine.
