Deutsche Bank strengthens European credit trading franchise

Deutsche Bank announced today that it has appointed Andrew Jarman and Vassilis Paschopoulos as heads of high yield and investment grade credit trading respectively. Based in London, Jarman and Paschopoulos will add to Deutsche Bank’s market-leading credit trading franchise and strengthen customer focus and flow trading in Europe.

Vassilis Paschopoulos will rejoin Deutsche Bank as head of investment grade credit trading. Paschopoulos spent more than six years at Deutsche Bank, most recently overseeing credit trading for investment grade corporates, before leaving to join UBS’s credit business. His appointment is effective immediately.

Andrew Jarman will assume responsibility for high yield credit trading in Europe. Jarman joined Deutsche Bank as a senior high yield credit trader last year from Morgan Stanley. Paschopoulos and Jarman will report to Antoine Cornut, European head of credit trading.

Cornut commented: “Vassilis and Andrew are an integral part of our growth strategy as we continue to invest in our flow credit franchise in Europe. These appointments show our dedication to helping our clients meet their investment objectives and develop innovative solutions to manage credit risk.”
