Deutsche Bank strengthens the high yield trading business in Europe

Deutsche Bank today announced a number of key hires to strengthen its already successful high yield trading business in Europe.

Andrew Jarman has joined the bank as a senior high yield credit trader, based in London. Jarman joins Deutsche Bank from Morgan Stanley where he was responsible for market making in high yield bonds, CDS, leveraged loans and LCDS within its Leveraged Credit Trading and Corporate Credit Group.

Askin Aziz has also joined the bank as a senior high yield credit analyst, based in London. Most recently Aziz was a senior credit analyst at James Caird Asset Management where he provided analysis on the European high yield sector, crossover leveraged loans and CDS.

Both Aziz and Jarman will report to Antoine Cornut, European Head of Credit Trading. In April Deutsche Bank appointed Stephen Byrne as Head of European Distressed Trading and these two new appointments are part of the ongoing strengthening of the high yield and distressed businesses.

Commenting on the appointment Cornut said; "Andrew and Askin's appointments are of strategic importance to the high yield trading business and illustrate our dedication to developing the franchise. We are delighted to welcome Andrew and Askin to the team."
