Yaroslav Lissovolik, Chief Economist of Deutsche Bank in Russia, took part in “Europe and Eurasia: Towards a New Model of Energy Security” Conference

On 13 April 2015 an international conference “Europe and Eurasia: Towards a New Model of Energy Security” organised by the Valdai International Discussion Club  and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik (DGAP) took place in Berlin. The key topics discussed at this high-ranking forum were energy industry perspectives, energy business development, Eurasian energy security issues.

Yaroslav Lissovolik, Member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank Russia, Chief Economist, Head of Company Research in Russia, moderated the session entitled “Energy business under the conditions of political and economic uncertainties”. The speakers were business heads of large European companies including M.Borrell, Senior Vice President, Continental Europe and Central Asia, Total, C.Delbruck, CEO, E.ON Global Commodities SE, A.Fallico, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Intesa Bank, O.Lazare, Vice President, Shell Exploration and Production Services.

A.Miller, Chairman of the Board, OJSC Gazprom, made some important statements in his keynote speech at the Conference.

The event attracted over 150 experts, including high-ranking officials and prominent business figures. Among the speakers were Valery Yazev, First deputy Chairman of the Committee on Natural Resources, Environment and Ecology, The State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy, Russian Federation, Seyed Mohammad Hossein Adeli, Secretary General, Gas Exporting Countries Forum, Urban Rusnak, Secretary General of the Energy Charter, etc.
