“Choosing a career you are passionate about will help you to progress easily as you will always give your best, “ said Kerry-Ann Nair from Compliance. She went on to say: “Remember that in your journey you may fall, what is important is that you pick yourself up and continue to grow by learning from those mistakes.” The youth got the opportunity through a connect session to intimately chat to the speakers and other Deutsche Bank female employees about their careers and their journeys to get to where they are today. One of the participants, Tereza Mbewe reflected: “This is definitely an eye opener. Listening to the ladies talk about different careers made me realize that there are many roles out there. Thank you for this exposure.” Ayanda Masuku from Corporate Finance believes: “Challenge yourself to do more.

One goal a time”, which aligns with the Afrika Tikkun ethos. Afrika Tikkun is geared and focused on supporting and developing children and youth from cradle to career so they can realize their potential and become who they were born to be. The organization has been a long-term Deutsche Bank Born to Be project partner.
