One of Deutsche Bank’s community partners has launched a "We Love London" appeal in response to recent events in London. The appeal has been launched by The Capital Community Foundation, who works alongside the Bank’s Corporate Citizenship UK team
Deutsche Bank is covering the administration costs of the fund, so all donations made will go to local communities. To date the fund has raised over £20,000.
The money raised will be used to help those who have lost their homes and possessions to get back on their feet, and to help independent business owners re-build their livelihoods. The fund will assist help local charities and voluntary groups, enabling them to build stronger communities.
Kate Cavelle, Head of Corporate Citizenship UK, at Deutsche Bank, said: "Helping people build self-supporting structures is the basis of Deutsche Bank's social commitment. This is why we are delighted to support the We Love London appeal. In times like this, we know that getting donations to the right people as efficiently as possible takes real work. This is why we are also paying for the administration costs of running this appeal, to ensure that 100% of all other donations go directly to the cause."
