Deutsche Bank recognised as one of Europe’s best companies for leadership

Deutsche Bank has been recognised for its strong commitment to developing and retaining talent in the Hay Group's 'Best Companies for Leadership' study.

The Bank ranked 4th in Europe in the study, which covered firms from across 32 north, west and east European countries. The study highlights that post-recession, the top 10 companies have shifted towards a more inclusive and collaborative leadership approach, adapting their leadership practices accordingly.

The Hay Group sited that Europe’s top 10 companies for leadership are ‘more collaborative, culturally adept and ready to meet the needs of the family-friendly generation. It also claimed that 'sharp differences exist between the ‘best’ and the rest'.

George Vielmetter, regional director of the Hay Group, said: "The best companies for leaders are moving away from purely hierarchical organisational structures, in favour of more autonomy of decision making. They also put greater emphasis on diversity, generational and geographical issues."
