Fair is foul, and foul is fair - Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank

Over 14,000 children passed through the doors of The Globe in March to watch a special performance of Macbeth, sponsored by Deutsche Bank.

Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank is an innovative education project offering free tickets for GCSE students. The project is now in its fifth year, with over 65% of London Secondary Schools benefitting from the scheme.

In addition to the live performances at The Globe, there were also student and teacher workshops as well as on-line resources made available to further enhance the teaching and learning of Shakespeare.

Colin Grassie, Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank UK, commented: "At Deutsche Bank, we believe that culture can ignite young people's passion to learn and spur them on to exceptional achievements. We've worked with Globe Education for almost a decade on exciting projects like this to help open up a new world to students in London."
