Girls join Game Changers for 2016

In partnership with London Scottish Football Club as part of the Bank’s Born to Be youth engagement programme, Game Changers aims to encourage and motivate  students, most at risk of expulsion from school to develop their confidence and improve employability skills. Throughout the six week course a combination of regular playing sessions and classroom activates allows the 12- 14 year olds to develop their social  and academic skills as they prepare for their GCSEs.

92% of previous  participants state they  felt a sense of pride on completion of the course and schools have reported increased attendance and concentration levels in class. The programme is supported by  Deutsche Bank volunteers donate their time to support the project by participating in morning  education sessions to help re-engage students with their studies, and afternoon rugby coaching, which develops teamwork and discipline.
