Charta of Diversity (Germany)
The "Charta of Diversity" was launched in December 2006 by Deutsche Bank and three other companies. Its aim is to actively encourage diversity in companies' workforces. Since the initiative started, more than 350 companies and public entities have signed the "Charta of Diversity". Deutsche Bank also supported the initiative by introducing the "Charta of Diversity" to several of its German mid-cap clients.
Signatories undertake to acknowledge and respect the diversity of their employees - regardless of their gender, race, citizenship, ethnic origin, religion or ideology, incapacitation, age, sexual orientation and identity. This is intended to create a corporate culture of mutual respect and secure greater benefit from employees' talents.
