Group Technology and Operations (GTO) represents all components of the Technology and Operations network of Deutsche Bank.
GTO is the backbone of Deutsche Bank, providing the vital infrastructure, technology and operational processes to make it one of the most efficient and automated organizations in the financial industry. Our aim is to deliver world class technology and operations solutions to support and enhance Deutsche Bank's business, maximize performance and establish GTO as the employer of choice for talented people.

How we are organized
Technology
Technology functions consist of:
- The Infrastructure division (IES) which provides a platform of support that spans the whole bank. We build, engineer and manage the technology that underpins all operations and applications within the bank. We provide all systems and services on which the Bank's applications run. This includes:
- Global Network Services Enterprise Services
- Architecture and Engineering
- Global Services and Security
- COO / Business Management.
- Technology teams are aligned to specific business divisions of the bank. Units in Investment Banking Technology, Private and Corporate Banking technology and Asset Management Technology provide tailored solutions to our clients using the latest programming languages, web and mobile computing technologies and providing live 24 hour systems support around the globe as well as project and program management, business analysis and vendor management.
Operations
Operations deals daily with the demands of our internal and external clients, manages sophisticated relationships with our vendors and strategic partners and responds proactively to changes in a dynamic market environment. Within an industry of narrowing margins and growing volume, the Operations division is at the forefront of the industry as our success is based on the competence, integrity and power of innovation inherent in its staff.
Operational roles within Deutsche Bank cover a range of opportunities and include:
- Client Management: Liaising with internal and external clients to resolve issues and provide them with first class solutions
- Project Management and Business Analysis: Understanding and applying project management methodologies and tools to improve processes and cost effectiveness
- Risk and Control: Assessing underlying risks for all of our activities through trend analysis, monitoring of regulatory controls and complex reporting requirements. Protecting the Bank's ability to function in adverse conditions
- Business Management: Developing metrics to assist management in running a seamless operation and provide transparency to internal clients.
Transaction Management Group
Reporting to Global Markets, Transaction Management Group (TMG) provides trade capture, trade and sales support to lifecycle management, contract risk management as well as flash P&L reporting. TMG looks to utilize the best people and technology to provide timely accurate and complete transaction flows, delivering Global Markets the capacity and capability to maximize profits
