Who we are
Transaction Management Group (TMG) is responsible for providing timely, accurate and complete transaction management, giving Global Markets (GM) the capacity and capability to maximize profits.
TMG looks to utilize the best people and technology to improve client service and reduce the risk exposure to GM in a controlled and efficient manner.
What we do
TMG is responsible for all the trades GM executes, from trade capture, and trade and sales support, to lifecycle management and risk and P&L production.
We work closely with Sales and Trading to ensure all trades are executed and captured on time and accurately, ensuring trade information flows seamlessly to Finance and Operations. TMG is responsible for capturing and managing, over their lifetime, all Global Markets trades; from the simplest exchange traded equity to the most structured, 30 year OTC credit trade.
How we are organized
With more than 1,500 personnel worldwide, TMG is structured vertically along product lines and regionally from a management perspective:
Debt
The Debt Transaction Management Group is responsible for managing trades executed by four major Global Markets businesses; Global Rates, Global Credit Trading, Global Finance and Foreign Exchange and Commodities. The group's responsibilities include trade capture, trade and sales support, and lifecycle management, as well as flash risk and P&L reporting.
Equity
The Equity Transaction Management Group is responsible for managing trades executed by Global Markets Equity (GME) and Equity Proprietary Trading (EPT). TMG support for GME breaks further divides into three major product lines; Equity Derivatives, Synthetic Equity and Cash Equity. TMG's responsibilities include trade capture, trade and sales support, lifecycle management, and contract risk matching services.
Client Coverage Group
The TMG Client Coverage Group (CCG) is part of a strategic objective to build better alignment with the front office sales teams and to provide proactive sales and client support. CCG is responsible for all client facing activities including valuations, cross product sales support, sales reporting, eCommerce support and the new account opening process.
Change the Bank (CTB)
The CTB Group manages, develops and delivers programs and change initiatives that enhance the control and operational effectiveness of TMG. It is split into Continuous Improvement (CI) and Change the Bank (CTB) and its activities span process, technology and MIS.
Strategy & Performance
The Strategy & Performance team is responsible for defining and driving the strategic agenda for the TMG Group. This covers all areas of organizational and business strategy, the strategic planning process, performance metrics and management. In addition, this team is responsible for defining the target operating model including the functional model, and people and offshoring strategies. An important element of the role of this team is to facilitate strategic alignment of the TMG Group through effective corporate communications.
