  • A family mission – feeding the elderly in Hong Kong

    For the fourth year running, Deutsche Bank Hong Kong partnered with Food for Life to cook and distribute food for the elderly. Working with the world's largest vegetarian food relief network, 27 Deutsche Bank volunteers and their family and friends prepared and delivered wholesome vegetarian food to more than 1,000 underprivileged elderly folks in Hong Kong. more

  • East Coast Flood Relief with Food Aid Foundation

  • Preparing kimchi for the underprivileged

    On Wednesday, November 18, 12 employees from Deutsche Bank Seoul volunteered at the ‘Kimchi Fair’ led by the Korea Financial Investment Association (KoFIA). Together with 450 volunteers from 50 financial institutions, the Bank’s volunteers made over 18,000 kilograms of kimchi, a traditional fermented Korean side dish made of vegetables with a variety of seasonings that is famous in Korea. more

  • New look for APHDM school in Mauritius

    Since 2006, Association Pour les Handicapés De Malherbes (APHDM) has been providing special education and services to handicapped children in Mauritius. At the moment, there are 47 children between the ages of six to 24 studying at the school, who are suffering from severe disabilities especially those with mental impairment, cerebral palsy, autism and other related conditions. more

  • Dunong Bahay (House of Learning) Back-to-School programme

    In June, Deutsche Bank Manila launched the Back-to-School programme, with the campaign theme “one cup of coffee equals four school kits”. The theme aimed to encourage staff to donate to the programme by channelling the amount used to purchase one cup of coffee to buy four school kits containing stationery supplies for needy school children instead. more

  • Deutsche Bank Taiwan helps Taoyuan Kind Garden prepare for Mid-Autumn Festival sales

    Falling on the 15th day of the eighth month in the lunar calendar, in Taiwan people observe the Mid-Autumn Festival i by consuming mooncakes to symbolise family reunions. Since 2012, Deutsche Bank has supported Taoyuan Kind Garden, a special care centre for adults with severe or multiple disabilities in Taiwan. The organisation runs its own bakery workshop, which offers the disabled good working opportunities to build their skills andself-esteem. more

  • Born to Be – Inspiring migrant children to explore science

    In an effort to inspire migrant children toward science and broaden their horizons, Deutsche Bank and INCLUDED, an NGO partner of the Bank focusing on educating migrant children, organised a science education tour at Guangdong Science Centre on Saturday, June 6. 30 migrant children aged between eight and ten attended the tour, accompanied by 22 volunteers from Deutsche Bank Guangzhou Branch. more

  • Bring Me A Book event ignites interest to read in children from low-income families

    On Friday, May 15, 19 volunteers from Deutsche Bank Hong Kong, led by Chief Country Officer Peter Lo, spent a Friday afternoon at a local kindergarten, reading and interacting with the children. They were there for an event organised by 'Bring Me A Book Hong Kong' (BMAB), a registered charity in Hong Kong that promotes family literacy by helping children from low-income households access quality children’s books, as well as empowering parents and educators to help the children succeed in school and life. more

  • Deutsche Bank Singapore exposes secondary students to real-world banking

    To inspire young people to strive to achieve their dreams is the core of Deutsche Bank’s Born to Be programme. As part of the Halogen Foundation Singapore’s first engagement with Deutsche Bank, a corporate visit for 35 Secondary four Normal Technical stream students was organised at the Bank’s Singapore offices. The event aimed to provide the students with a real-world exposure to banking, the concepts of trade and money,and Deutsche Bank’s various operations. more

  • Paying it forward continues at Pali Ashramshala

    On March 28, 2015, 73 volunteers from Mumbai and Pune supported tribal students at Kulaba Zilla Adivasi Seva Mandal (Pali Ashramshala), a school for underprivileged children at Pali, India, by giving the classrooms and living areas of the school a new look. The activity received strong support from volunteers from Pune Near and Offshore Centre (NOC), Mumbai NOC, Deutsche Bank AG Mumbai Branch and Deutsche CIB Centre. more

  • Art Ed Session I: Painting Joy with Watercolour

    In partnership with the University of the Philippines (UP) College of Fine Arts, Deutsche Knowledge Services (DKS) Corporate Responsibility 2015 kicked off the Art Ed series on painting on February 28. Led by Detusche Bank employees Camille-J Conanan and Kara Lopez, the first session aimed to cultivate a rudimentary understanding of colour. 20 children from the Asian Students Christian Foundation (ASCF) and 20 employees, with and without prior knowledge of artistic techniques learned to appreciate art and tap their creativity in the full-day session. more
