The Asia Pacific region has always played an important role in Deutsche Bank's international strategy. Our roots in Asia go back to 1872 when our first branches were opened in Shanghai and Yokohama. Today we employ 19,000 staff in 15 markets in the Asia Pacific region.


Corporate & Investment Bank

The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) combines Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Finance, Global Markets and Global Transaction Banking businesses. This new business division was created in 2017 with the aim to ensure greater alignment of product and sales efforts, enabling the bank to deliver a better service to clients and a more focused resource allocation.

Corporate Finance

Corporate Finance is comprised of regional and industry-focused coverage teams that ensure the delivery of the entire range of financial products and services to the bank’s corporate clients. The business includes the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team as well as the debt and equity capital markets (DCM and ECM) teams.


Global Markets

Global Markets is dedicated to building long-term, sustainable relationships with the bank’s key corporate and institutional clients. It combines a market-leading institutional sales force, world-class research with trading and structuring expertise to provide clients with access to liquidity and customised solutions across a wide range of markets, products and regions.

 


Global Transaction Banking

Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is a leading global provider of cash management, trade finance and securities services, delivering the full range of commercial banking products and services for both corporates and institutions worldwide.

 

 



Private & Commercial Bank

Deutsche Bank's newly established Private & Commercial Bank (PCB) corporate division combines the bank's expertise in private and commercial banking with Postbank in Germany and Wealth Management in one corporate division.

Both in our home market of Germany and internationally, PCB offers our clients high-quality advice and a wide range of financial services from a single source. These range from comprehensive services for retail clients, to solutions for demanding clients in Private Banking and Wealth Management, to business and commercial client coverage.
 

Private & Commercial Clients International

Deutsche Bank's Private & Commercial Clients International (PCC) Corporate Division provides banking and other financial services to private, commercial and corporate clients in Europe and Asia. PCC's products and services include payment and current account services, investment management and retirement planning, as well as deposits, loans and mortgages. For small and medium-sized clients, PCC offers a full range of services, e.g. from start-up financing to structured finance.


Wealth Management

Wealth Management serves high and ultra high net worth individuals and families as well as selected institutions. It provides these very discerning clients with a fully integrated wealth management service, including inheritance planning and philanthropic advisory services.
