Off-Cycle Internship Program

Providing a meaningful introduction to Deutsche Bank, this intensive program is for students who are required to complete an internship or work placement as part of their degree course. Off-Cycle Internships (formerly known as Stagiaire) are available in Corporate Banking & Securities: Corporate Finance, Markets and Research. Internships can last between three to eleven months.

Getting started

This hands-on learning experience could be the start of a career in investment banking. Joining our global team you'll help us meet the needs of our clients and will get to understand why we’re trusted by some of the world’s principal institutions, corporations and governments.

You must be studying at a Continental Europe based University and required to complete an internship as part of your course requirements. You'll be in your penultimate year of study on track to graduate in 2015 and ready to start the Global Analyst Training program in July 2015 (graduation includes completing all internship placements and campus study). A strong academic track record and fluency in English is essential, in addition to demonstrating strong quantitative, numerical and analytical skills.

Going forward

As an intern in Corporate Banking & Securities: Markets you'll gain exposure to bonds, equities, foreign exchange (FX), money market products, commodities or derivatives as well as structured investment, financial or risk management products.

As an intern in Corporate Banking & Securities: Corporate Finance you'll be part of team offering advisory services, financing and transaction banking of the most innovative kind. Opportunities are available across product and coverage teams.

As an intern in Corporate Banking & Securities: Research you’ll offer in-depth industry knowledge on a global scale. Our multi asset-class research product generates consistent outperformance, for both internal and external clients.

These internships are built around on-the-job training, including involvement in live projects and assignments.

Your career development is a key priority for us – we’ll provide structured program feedback, assessments and intensive mentoring opportunities to ensure you get the most out of your internship. Interns joining us over the summer will also benefit from our Summer Internship program events and networking opportunities.
