Client centricity

We are structured around the three types of clients that we serve – private clients, fiduciaries & institutions, and corporates, with following business divisions:

  1. Private & Commercial Bank that is the clear market leader in Germany as measured by number of clients. Postbank, Deutsche Bank’s international Private & Commercial Clients business and the global Wealth Management business are part of this division.
  2. Deutsche Asset Management, which should gain more operational independence through a partial IPO and be better positioned for growth.
  3. Corporate & Investment Bank, which comprises the bank’s Corporate Finance, Equities, Fixed Income & Currencies and Global Transaction Banking businesses, aiming primarily for a corporate-client led business.
