This Cookie Policy describes the procedures used by Deutsche Bank S.p.A. (hereinafter also "the Bank") for the management of internet cookies on its own websites. 1. Who is the Data Controller for the websites I am visiting?

The Data Controller pursuant to Article 4 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 is Deutsche Bank S.p.A., with headquarters at Piazza del Calendario 3, Milan. The Data Processor is the pro tempore Chief Operating Officer of Deutsche Bank S.p.A. With reference to the various websites, the Data Controller may nominate specific Data Processors (for example, companies appointed by the Bank to manage the websites). The list of Data Processors may be requested at any time from the Bank by addressing your request according to the details indicated below (cf. Paragraph 6).

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files which the websites the user visits send to the user's terminal equipment (usually to the browser), where they are stored in memory and then sent back to the same websites if the user visits them again. When navigating on a website, users may also receive cookies from different websites or web servers on their terminal equipment (so-called "third party cookies"). This happens because the website visited may contain components such as, for example, images, maps, audio or specific links to web pages in other domains which are housed on servers other than the one on which the page requested is located. 3. What type of cookies are used on Deutsche Bank S.p.A. websites?
3.1 Aggregated statistical and technical cookies

All our websites, including the portals providing access to areas reserved to customers, commercial partners and operators use technical cookies. These cookies are necessary for two reasons:

  1. To carry out activities strictly necessary for website functions: the cookies are used to store the user's session and carry out other activities strictly necessary for use of the websites, for example concerning the distribution of traffic.
  2. To save preferences, for optimisation and statistical purposes: in this case the cookies are used to save the navigation preferences and optimise the user's navigation experience. Google Analytics: Google Analytics is a website analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google uses the personal data collected (user data) with anonymized IPs for the purpose of tracking and examining use of the websites, compiling reports and sharing them with other services developed by Google.

Google may use personal data to contextualise and personalise adverts on its own advertising network. The IP address is anonymized by abbreviation of Users' IP addresses within European Union Member States or other countries in the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the IP address sent to Google servers and abbreviated in the United States.

3.2 Other types of cookie

All our websites can track the User for the additional purposes described below.
In addition, the third-party services listed below could, in addition to what is specified and including unbeknown to the Data Controller, carry out User profiling. For detailed information, please consult the respective privacy policies of the services listed.

3.2.1 Advertising cookies

These services allow using the user's data for the purposes of sending advertising messages such as banners, including related to the user's interests identified during navigation on the websites. These services could use cookies to identify the user or use behavioural retargeting techniques, that is displaying targeted advertising according to the user's interests and behaviour, including if identified outside the Deutsche Bank website the user is visiting. Adform: this is an advertising service provided by Adform (an autonomous Data Controller), which collects user information from websites visited by the user. 3.2.2 Statistical cookies (with non-aggregated data)

The services described in this section allow third parties who install cookies (autonomous Data Controllers) to monitor and analyse traffic data and are used to track user behaviour.

Conversion tracking of Facebook Ads: this is a statistical service provided by Facebook, Inc. which connects data from the Facebook adverts network to actions performed on the website. 3.2.3 Social network cookies

These services allow interaction with social networks or other external platforms directly from the pages of the website. The interactions and the information acquired by this website are in any event governed by the privacy settings of the User for each social network. If a service for interaction with social networks is installed, it is possible, even if users do not use the service, for it to collect traffic data for the pages in which it is installed.

4. Further information on other purposes of processing and use of cookies.

From the time that installation of Cookies and other tracking systems operated by third parties through the services used on this website cannot be technically controlled by the Data Controller, all specific references to Cookies and tracking systems installed by third parties must be considered as being for information only. 5. How to deny consent for use of cookies?

7. Definitions

Personal data (or Data)
Personal data is any information concerning an individual who is identified or identifiable, including indirectly, through reference to any other information, including a personal identification number.

Use data
This is personal data collected automatically by the Application (or by the third party applications the application uses) including: IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the User connecting to the Application, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file sent in reply, the numerical code indicating the response status of the server (successful, error, etc.) the Country of origin, the characteristics of the browser and of the operating system used by the visitor, the various timings of the visit (for example the time spent on each page) and details of the itinerary followed within the Application, with particular reference to the sequence of pages consulted, the parameters of the operating system and the User's information technology environment.

User
The individual using the website who must be the same as the Data Subject or be authorised by the person whose Personal Data are the subject of processing.

Data Subject
The natural or legal person to whom the Personal Data refer.

Data Controller (or Controller)
The natural or legal person, the public administration and any other entity, association or organisation which, including together with other controllers, makes decisions concerning the purposes and the methods for processing personal data and the instruments used, including the security profile, for the functioning and use of the website. The Data Controller, unless otherwise specified, is the owner of the website.
