Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown adds six Client Advisors to East Coast operations

Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, the U.S. Private Client Services (PCS) division of Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, today announced the addition of six Client Advisors to its East Coast operations. Luke Samson, Todd Kingsley and Rick Harris have joined PCS as Managing Directors and will work closely with high-net-worth individuals and families to help them reach their personal financial goals and advise them on Deutsche Bank’s array of solutions and services. Samson will be based in New York and will report to G. Haig Ariyan, a Managing Director and New York Regional Executive. Kingsley and Harris will be based in Washington, DC and will report to Matt Megary, a Director and Washington, DC Regional Executive.

Samson joins the firm from Bear Stearns where he was an Associate Director in the Private Client Division. Prior to that, he was a Financial Advisor at Bishop, Rosen & Co. He earned a BS in economics from UCLA.

Kingsley joins the firm from Smith Barney Citigroup Global Markets where he worked for more than 24 years. In his most recent position, he was a Director in the Wealth Management Division. He holds a BBA in accounting from George Washington University.

Harris also joins the firm from Smith Barney Citigroup where he was a Director in the Wealth Management division. Prior to joining Smith Barney in 1990, he was a Financial Advisor at Prudential Bache Securities. Rick holds a BS in government and politics from the University of Maryland.

Deutsche Bank Alex Brown also announced the following appointments:

  • Jack Gregg has joined as a Director in the Philadelphia office, reporting to Marty Leclerc, a Managing Director and Philadelphia Regional Executive.
  • Brian Kelley has joined as a Director in the Greenwich, CT office, reporting to David Fleming, a Director and Greenwich Regional Executive.
  • Victoria Ricker has joined as a Director in the Palm Beach office, reporting to Jamie Zahringer, a Managing Director and Regional Executive in Florida.

Gregg joins the firm from UBS where he was a Portfolio Manager for high-net-worth clients and worked with a number of middle market institutions. Previously, he was a Financial Advisor at PaineWebber and prior to that, he was a Sales Manager and Account Executive at Kidder Peabody. He earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Cornell University.

Kelley, who has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, joins PCS from Credit Suisse First Boston where he was a Financial Advisor. Previously, he held positions as Vice President of Investments at Oppenheimer, a Client Advisor at Moran and Associates and a Senior Associate at Sanford Bernstein and Company. Kelley earned a BA in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Ricker joins PCS from A.G. Edwards where she was a Financial Consultant. Prior to joining A.G. Edwards in 2004, she was a Financial Advisor at UBS/PaineWebber. She holds a BA in geology from Vassar College.
