Deutsche Bank announced today the appointment of Maarten van Berckel, 51, as a Managing Director in its Global Banking business covering Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Mr. Van Berckel will be based at Deutsche Bank’s office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Mr. Van Berckel was a Managing Director of Lehman Brothers International (Europe) and Chief Executive Officer of Lehman Brothers Benelux.
