Deutsche Bank to cover additional costs related to same sex domestic partner benefits in the United States

Deutsche Bank employees based in the United States have been eligible for same sex domestic partner benefits under the company’s health insurance plans since 1999. Starting this year, those who are enrolled in the medical, dental and vision insurance plans will be issued a payment at the end of the year to help cover the extra costs incurred based on the U.S. tax code.
Deutsche Bank strongly supports the diversity of its employees. This action announced today is another way of recognizing and supporting our LGBT employees across the bank. dbPride Americas, one of the many diversity networks within Deutsche Bank, is an organization open to all Deutsche Bank employees to promote an inclusive and productive work environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.
