Andrey Kostin, Deputy Chairman of Deutsche Bank's Management Board died in a tragic accident on Saturday July 2

It is with great regret that we inform you that Andrey Kostin, Managing Director in Corporate and Investment Banking Division, Deputy Chairman of Deutsche Bank's Russian Management Board died in a tragic accident on Saturday July 2.

Andrey joined investment banking arm of Deutsche Bank in 2000 in London after graduating from university and completing Deutsche Bank graduate training program. In 2002 he moved to CEEMA Sales and Client Coverage team, where within 5 years he grew from Analyst to Head of Financial Institutions Group for Russia. In April 2007 Andrey moved to Moscow based Deutsche Bank Ltd, where in January 2009 he was appointed Co-Head of Sales, Origination and Client Coverage for Russia and CIS, becoming a sole Head of the group in March 2010. During his career at Deutsche Bank Andrey has originated and participated in numerous public and private deals that provided over USD 40bn of financing in both debt and equity to Russian banks and corporates. Andrey Kostin is a Member of the Management Board Deutsche Bank Ltd since August 2008, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board – since February 2011.
