The Deutsche Bank Foundation is sponsoring a staging of Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro” in Vladivostok, Russia.
The production, which is being carried out under the auspices of the Stuttgart Opera, was premiered on October 28, 2011, where professional German opera singers shared the stage with Russian peers, as well as with young up-and-coming artists. The production will also be staged at the Opera House in Yakutsk, Russia, in April 2012.
