Joerg Bongartz, Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Bank Russia, Elected to CSD Supervisory Board

Joerg Bongartz, Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Bank Russia and Head of the Bank’s Global Transaction Banking Russia, was elected to the Supervisory Board of the Russian Central Securities Depository (CSD). The election took place at the CSD’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) of shareholders that was held on May 26, 2015. The Supervisory Board consists of 15 financial figures, including representatives of the Russian major banks and independent directors.

Pavel Teplukhin, CCO of Deutsche Bank Group in Russia, commented: “The election of Joerg Bongartz to the Supervisory Board of the Russian CSD reaffirms Deutsche Bank’s commitment towards active engagement into the development of the Russian securities market infrastructure in order to support our clients’ interests.”
