1870
Deutsche Bank is founded in Berlin to promote and facilitate trade relations between Germany and international markets.


1993

Deutsche Bank opened a representative office in Kiev to support Global Transaction Banking (GTB) business for Financial Institutions, Trade Finance deals and Global Markets originated deals.


2008

Global Transaction Banking Division decided to open subsidiary in Ukraine. Ukraine to become a 3rd “anchor country” for GTB in the region.


2009

A full service corporate bank - Public Joint-Stock Company “Deutsche Bank DBU” - was established, offering commercial banking services to major Ukrainian corporations and subsidiaries of multinational companies. Ukraine is the first new country in Europe after Russia for more than a decade.
