Bill Woodley

Bill Woodley is our CEO of DB USA Corporation and CEO of Deutsche Bank Americas. 
 
Woodley joined Deutsche Bank in 1998. Prior to his current appointments he served as the Global Chief Operating Officer for Regional Management, the Regional Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific and the Supervisor of the Board for Deutsche Bank (China) Co. Ltd. He also worked for the Equities division. 
 
Before joining Deutsche Bank, Woodley served in the Royal Navy. He is an Executive Board member of the Institute of International Bankers and serves on the board of the Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation as well as the Tiger Woods Foundation.

Edward Kangas

Chairman, Independent Director

Edward Kangas is our Board Chairman, an Independent Director and also serves on the Deutsche Bank Americas Advisory Board.

Kangas is the Lead Director of Tenet Healthcare Corporation and is the Non-Executive Chairman of United Technologies. He also serves on the boards of IntelSat and Hovnanian Enterprises Inc.; is a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development and is a Senior Advisor to BC Partners. He was previously the Global Chairman and CEO of Deloitte from 1989-2000, where he worked for 33 years.

Education: Kangas has undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration from the University of Kansas where he was recognized with the University’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 2000.

Brigitte Bomm

Global Head of Tax

 
Brigitte Bomm is our Global Head of Tax.
 
Bomm joined Deutsche Bank in 2007. She has more than two decades of experience in the industry. Before joining the Bank, she was a Partner at KPMG in Germany and KPMG LLC in the US. While at KPMG she advised European financial institutions on all aspects of US international tax matters and US GAAP/IFRS income tax accounting issues. 
 
Education: Bomm has an undergraduate degree in public accounting and an MBA from Pace University.

Patrick Campion

Head of Wealth Management, Americas

Patrick Campion is Head of Wealth Management Americas at Deutsche Bank. Campion has more than 30 years of experience in private banking and joined Deutsche Bank from HSBC where he served as CEO of its Private Bank for nine years. He was formerly Head of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management’s New York office and previously held positions at Citigroup and at JPMorgan Chase. Campion is a member of the Global Wealth Management Executive Committee.

Education: Campion holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut.

Stuart Clarke

Chief Operating Officer, Americas

 
Stuart Clarke is our Chief Operating Officer for the Americas.
 
Clarke joined Deutsche Bank in 1999 following its acquisition of Bankers Trust, where he had worked since 1996. He has held his current role since 2001, before which he served as Regional COO and Global CAO for Deutsche Bank’s Fixed Income business. At Bankers Trust, he was the Global COO for the Trading and Sales business. Clarke also spent ten years at Harlow Butler Garban as its Finance Director, European Head of Operations and Technology and lastly Global COO.

Mark Fedorcik

Head of CIB, Americas

 

Mark Fedorcik is Head of CIB Americas at Deutsche Bank, overseeing the bank’s commercial banking, corporate finance and transaction banking business in the region. He is a veteran of the bank, having started his career at Bankers Trust in 1995. Throughout his more than 20 years at Deutsche Bank, Fedorcik has held various roles including Co-Head of Corporate Finance Americas, Global Head of Debt Capital Markets and Global Head of Leveraged Finance. He is a member of the Global CIB Executive Committee.

Education: Fedorcik holds an undergraduate degree from Hamilton College.

Zia Huque

Head of Global Markets, Americas

 
Zia Huque is our Head of Global Markets for the Americas.
 
Huque oversees the Debt and Equity businesses in the Americas across Sales and Trading. His is also a member of the Bank’s Regional Executive Committee for the Americas and a member of the Global Executive Committee for Markets.
 
Prior to his current role, Huque was Global Chief Operating Officer of Markets and Global Co-Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Bank. Huque joined Deutsche Bank in 2004 in a Capital Markets role in Global Markets and was formerly Head of Global Risk Syndicate.
 
Before joining Deutsche Bank, Huque worked at Merrill Lynch for 15 years in various capacities in Capital Markets, Sales and Structuring in New York, Tokyo and London.

Robert Kendall

Head of Asset Management, Americas

 
Bob Kendall is our Head of Asset Management and Head of Client Coverage for the Americas. 
 
Kendall joined Deutsche Bank in 2009. Before his current role, Kendall was the National Sales Manager for DWS Investments and the Head of Retail Distribution. Before joining the Bank, Kendall worked as the Head of National Sales and Key Account Management at Van Kampen Investments and Morgan Stanley Asset Management.
 
Education: Kendall holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa.

Bernard Kroll

Independent Director

 
Bernard Kroll is an Independent Director of DB USA Corporation and is also a member of the Board of Directors of Deutsche Bank Trust Corporation and Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas. 
 
Kroll is a 25-year veteran of the financial derivatives and asset management business and was a member of the New York Mercantile Exchange and the American Stock Exchange. From 1996-2006, Kroll was employed by JPMorgan Asset Management where he held several positions including Head of US Equity Quantitative Research and Global Head of Structured Equity. 
 
Since his retirement Kroll has focused on public education issues and has developed and helped teach math education programs at high schools in New York.
 
Education: Kroll has a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from New York University. 

Sylvie Matherat

Member of Management Board
Global Chief Regulatory Officer

 
Sylvie Matherat is our Global Chief Regulatory Officer and a member of the Management Board.
 
Matherat joined Deutsche Bank in 2014 as Global Head of Government & Regulatory Affairs. 
 
Prior to Deutsche Bank, Matherat was Deputy Director General at Banque de France and responsible for regulation and financial stability issues, payment and settlement infrastructures, banking services and the Target 2 Securities project. Matherat previously held various positions at the Banking Supervisory Authority and in the private sector.
 
Education: Matherat studied public law and finance at the Institut d’Etudes Politique de Paris and holds a master’s degree in law and political sciences. She was awarded the Legion d'Honneur in 2014.

Lisa Polsky

Independent Director

 
Lisa Polsky is an Independent Director. 
 
Polsky was formerly on the Board of Directors of Piper Jaffray and was previously the Chief Risk Officer for CIT Group. She has also served as a Partner at Duff Capital Advisors, a Consultant at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, a Prime Broker at Merrill Lynch and the Chief Risk Officer at Morgan Stanley, as well as worked at Jane Street Capital, Bankers Trust and Citibank. 
 
Education: Polsky is a graduate of New York University.

Thomas Rollauer

Independent Director

 
Thomas Rollauer is an Independent Director. 
 
Rollauer was previously the Director of Deloitte & Touche LLP from 2008-2015. He has also served as the Executive Director of Global Compliance at Citigroup, a Partner at Deloitte & Touche and the Director for Bank Supervision for the Northeastern District at the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. 
 
Education: Rollauer received an undergraduate degree in economics from Belmont Abbey College and a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government. 

Rich Shannon

CIO and Head of Operations, Americas

 
Rich Shannon is our Head of Corporate Technology and CIO and Head of Operations for the Americas.
 
Shannon joined Deutsche Bank in 2014. Prior to his current role, he was Regional Co-Head of GTO Americas and CIO for the Americas. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Shannon spent twenty years at Goldman Sachs in multiple technology leadership roles based in London, Hong Kong and New York. His roles included Technology Head of Asia Pacific Securities and lastly Global Head of Web Platforms Technology. 
 
Education: Shannon has a BSc in computer science and math from the University of Glasgow, Scotland and an MSc in computational algorithms from the University of Warwick, England.

Susan Skerritt

Susan Skerritt is our Chairwoman, President and CEO of Deutsche Bank Trust Corporation and Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas; Global Head of Institutional Cash Management and Head of GTB for the Americas. 
 
Skerritt joined Deutsche Bank in 2013. Before that she was an Executive Vice President at Bank of New York Mellon, where she led initiatives across cash, trade and trust services, and a Partner and Director at Treasury Services, Inc. In her more than three decades in transaction banking, she has also held senior positions with Morgan Stanley, Ernst & Young and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company. 
 
Skerritt has been twice named one of American Banker’s 25 Women to Watch in Banking. 
 
Education: Skerritt holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Kirkland (Hamilton) College and an MBA in finance and international business from New York University Stern School of Business.  

Eric Smith

Chief Financial Officer, Americas

 
Eric Smith is our Chief Financial Officer for the Americas. 
 
Smith joined Deutsche Bank in 2011. Prior to joining the Bank he was Head of Group Financial Account for Credit Suisse and an Industry Fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board. Smith has also worked at Citigroup, in Corporate Accounting and Corporate Treasury, and at KPMG. 
 
Education: Smith holds a BA in communications from the University of Texas at Arlington and a graduate degree in professional accounting. 

Peter Yearley

Chief Risk Officer, CIB and Global Markets

 
Peter Yearley is our Chief Risk Officer for Corporate & Investment Banking and Global Markets.
 
Yearley joined Deutsche Bank in 2003. He began as the Regional Chief Credit Officer for America and has held various roles within Risk including Global Head of CRM Structured Finance and Deputy Chief Credit Officer. He was appointed Chief Credit Officer for CB&S and GTB in 2012 and then Chief Risk Officer for CIB & GM in 2015. Prior to joining the Bank, Yearley was a principle in Private Equity for Madison Investment Partners and held numerous senior positions during 11 years at UBS.
 
Education: Yearley holds an undergraduate degree from Trinity College, Conn.
