Italy Wealth Management team named Best Discretionary Portfolio Manager 2020
Deutsche Bank Wealth Management’s Italian Discretionary Portfolio Management Team has won the “Best Italian Discretionary Portfolio Manager 2020” award from The German Institute of Quality and Finance, founded and owned by Hubert Burda Media Group.
The Institute, based in Munich which – among others – is the editor of Focus Magazine and European leader of Quality Awards, organizes the annual European Leader of Quality Awards, which celebrate excellence in finance, with focus on banking, asset management, mutual funds, mortgages.
As well as the quality of its portfolio, the team was recognized for its client centricity and transparency of costs and information for customers.
This was complemented by a strong showing in quantitative criteria such as managing volatility, interest rate sensitivity and FX risk, to convince the judges that Deutsche Bank offers the best discretionary portfolio management platform in Italy.
The nine-strong team supplies Private Bank and Wealth Management clients and manages the third largest discretionary asset base at Deutsche Bank after Germany and Switzerland. It was one of the first portfolio managers to offer Environmental, Social & Governance products in Italy and helps private and institutional clients meet their ESG investment goals.
