Deutsche Bank has supported Palisade Investment Partners with a AUD 150 million seven‑year non‑recourse loan facility, as sole lender. This loan facility will be used to partially refinance the existing debt facilities of Intera Renewables, the Australian renewable energy platform established by Palisade Investment Partners.
Intera Renewables is an Australian renewable energy platform established by Palisade Investment Partners, who remain a long‑term investor alongside institutional partners. Intera manages a diversified portfolio consisting of four operational onshore wind assets, one operational solar asset, two under-construction battery energy storage system (BESS) assets, and a growing high-quality development pipeline. The platform continues to expand its renewable energy footprint with a focus on long‑term value creation and stable income returns.
“This refinancing underscores our ability to deliver tailored, long‑tenor capital solutions for high‑quality renewable energy portfolios and our continued support of Australia’s energy transition,” Rachel Chia, Head of Project Finance for APAC shared.
The seven-year non-recourse loan facility that Deutsche Bank provided is part of a broader AUD 845 million financing package, where the additional funds provided by a broad syndicate of domestic and international banks was used to support the acquisition of the 240 MW / 480 MWh Summerfield Battery Energy Storage System, a large scale project that will support Australia’s electricity grid and energy transition.
Deutsche Bank continues to broadly support Palisade Investment Partners, having acted as an existing lender to the Intera Renewables’ portfolio and the Stockyard Hill Wind Farm since 2024. This transaction reinforces the bank’s long‑term commitment to the Australian renewable energy sector and to supporting the continued growth of one of the country’s largest diversified renewable energy platforms.
