Deutsche Bank research team gains strong results for Emea in Thomson Extel Survey

Deutsche Bank is pleased to announce that it has been ranked as the number one European Emerging Market Brokerage Firm and number one for a range of EMEA research categories in  the Thomson Extel Pan-European Survey 2006.

The annual survey determines the best sell-side equity research coverage in Europe by surveying more than 5,000 professionals from 1,222 buy-side firms, across 56 countries worldwide.

Deutsche Bank's strength in various categories across EMEA was reflected in a top-ranking position for research in the areas of Pan European Beverages and Chemicals and Emerging Markets, Metals & Mining, Oils & Chemicals, Telecommunications, Equity Market Strategy, Sales, and Trading & Execution.

Additionally, on a geographical basis, Deutsche Bank received first place for its Russian research and second place for research on Israel.

Deutsche Bank individual analysts who were recognised as number one in their category were Alexei Yakovitski (Emerging Market Telecommunications), and Stephen O'Sullivan (Russia).
